Our Goals

We Work For 2 Things

1

To give young people the tools they need to build the bridges of success and create genuine positive change

2

To plan and action community service and development projects for the betterment of our local communities

What Makes Us Different?

We're Not Like Other NGOs and Not For PRofits

As young active citizens, we are invested in the future of our world, and so we work together, using our pooled talents, experience and networks to create targeted solutions to local issues.

As JCI members, we take initiative to solve local challenges, which allows us to have an immediate and noticeable change to the challenges  we tackle.

Not only this, but it enables our approach to be more tailored and localised, since every JCI chapter addressed problems local to them individually, and each chapter has autonomy in deciding what problems to solve.

Another major difference between us and other charitable organisations is that we’re not just about fundraising.

Although we do donate to many worthy causes. we tend to use our own time, labour and other resources to tackle the problem head on, ourselves, at a grass roots level. We emphasise the importance of sustainable local impact.

What sets us apart in an even more noticeable way, is the fact that we are an organisation dedicated to the success and wellbeing of young leaders only, which enables us to better tailor our training and mentorship programs for 18-40 year olds.

Finally, JCI members come from a wide variety of backgrounds, such as: law, finance, accounting, management, marketing and sales, education, business owners, students, and so on. This diversity helps us better understand and embrace a today’s complex challenges and collaborate to form effective, sustainable solutions.

What Do We Do?

By taking on tailored local development initiatives, JCI Australia members are able to craft innovative solutions to problems that affect their communities.

JCI Australia members think critically about their communities greatest challenges and take action to be a part of the solution.
